New World Title & Escrow has partnered with SafeValidation to insure the security of wire transfers to customers. SafeValidation enables users like New World Title & Escrow to verify banking information prior to initiating bank wire transfers. A common fraud perpetrated in real estate transactions is for bad-actors to impersonate home sellers and refinancers via emails to settlement companies. These fraudsters attempt to divert funds to their accounts by providing alternate bank wiring instructions after settlement. While it has always been New World Title & Escrow’s policy not to accept emailed wiring instructions, SafeValidation provides an added layer of protection. All funds sent to an account screened and verified by SafeValidation are covered for up to $2,500,000.00 in loss from SafeValidation. Just another way New World Title & Escrow protects its clients’ money!
